Fragrance is the hardest thing to photograph, because there is nothing to photograph. A bottle is a bottle. The part people actually buy lives in memory, which meant every frame had to do emotional work the product couldn't.
AKSEN made this harder in the best way. The brand refuses a single scent DNA — each variant is its own mood and character. So we built the system in reverse: one shared grammar of clean composition and low-text covers, inside which every variant became a distinct persona.

AKSEN's presence now reads the way the brand describes itself — elegant, bold, minimal, unmistakably expressive. Each variant holds its own identity without the feed losing its centre of gravity.
For us at Mana Studio, this was a project about restraint. The temptation with fragrance is always to say more. AKSEN works precisely because it doesn't.
Next projects.
